New in the lab – Daniel Ruminski

We welcome Dr. Daniel Ruminski, who will join as Postdoctoral Fellow in the TEAM Project. The project aims at development of novel imaging instrumentation for the assessment of light scattering in the lens and vitreous as well as for the measurement of refractive index distribution in the crystalline lens.Dr. Ruminski obtained PhD in Biophysics from the Nicolaus Copernicus University. He spent last three years at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, University of New York (Prof. Joel Schuman), and at the Case Western Reserve University in Clevelend (Prof. Krzysztof Palczewski). He has an extensive experience in hardware and software development of ophthalmic instrumentation for retinal imaging, especially Fourier-domain OCT, two-photon ophthalmoscope. Welcome on board!
